Diya - Dee-ya
War clan / the "last name" of every drule is his/her Diya name, not really a "family" name even though members of the Diya may be related. The Diyas are very powerful groups and have been known to go to war with one another over just about anything imaginable.

Fao - Fa-oh
Great Goddess, paired with Great God Vikoa, together they teach balance and equal opposites.

The traditional meeting location of a Diya group. Serves as a community center for that particular Diya. There is one Kaitenshi per Diya, not smaller ones in other cities. They usually exist in the Diya's home city.

kenesh - ken-eshh
Card game - humans have euchre and poker and the imperial citizens have kenesh. Is played with several different rule sets and complexities.

Kianumatne - Key-ah-new-maat-nee
Largest southern city, known as 'royal city' due to its being the home to many of the ruling Diya's kaitenshis

Laila - Lie-la

Mahs - Mah-z
Death God - Only favored God of the former Emperor. The mark of Mahs was part of every Imperial war craft.

Manaleh - Ma-na-lay

Marhud - Maar-hoohd
Level of military training that only the most advanced can reach. The only higher levels of the combat arts is Jiawan Ahtne

Matrai - Maa-tra-eye
The traditional symbol of marriage, usually very intricate bands which are worn like humans wear wedding rings. They are always made of a silver colored material. Women's matrai are worn on the right wrist, men's are worn on the left. This is to symbolize the woman wearing her husband as her sword, and the man wearing his wife as his advisor in all things.

Goddess of Spring, Rebirth, New beginnings, hope. The season of spring is called "Meuotais"

A commonly growing tree on the southern part of the northern continent of Forth. The roots spread widely, making it difficult to knock over even in the strongest storm. It is often equated to a strong family.

A military term - declares an evening of the odds in an unbalanced conflict. If the person claiming yustunai is offering support to an enemy, no fault can be claimed against they or their family for what might otherwise appear to be treason.
